Introduction

Our mission is to monitor the quality of the pharmaceutical products consumed in the country.

Detailed description :

Drug Quality Control Commission which stands as a nonprofit Institution, was created in 1968 after an agreement signed by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), National Laboratories Association (ALN), Chamber of Pharmaceutical Products and related items (CEFA) and  Pharmaceutical Laboratories.


The mission of the CCCM is to monitor the quality of the pharmaceutical products consumed in the country. The analized drugs come from scheduled sampling by the Technical Management, and also from donations received by the Ministry of Public Health and managed complaints through the Pharmacovigilance Unit of the Department of Medicine and other Departments .The mentioned sampling is conducted throughout the national territory, in public and private, medical care institutions, pharmacies and drugstores,and in the manufacturers and importers laboratories.
When a quality withdrawal is found, the Technical Management informs the authorities of the Ministry of Public Health about it.
